‘Poppy Guide’ was quite popular among students in the nineties. After many years, the guide book published as an aid to the textbook has come into discussion again. Abdul Majid started writing Poppy Guide in 1988, long before entering politics. The guide was named after eldest daughter Nahrin Farhana (Poppy). This guide was available till 2013. But now it is no longer published.

After Abdul Majeed won the election, a person named Rejuanul Haque wrote on Facebook, 30 years ago in their time there were few students who did not read the Poppy Guide.
