A section of Japa leaders held a meeting in Dhaka yesterday, the leaders who participated in the meeting questioned the ‘morality’ of the top leadership of the Jatiya Party (Japa) for going to the elections despite the Trinamool’s opinion. In response to this, GM Quader said to participate in the election with the opinion of the senior leaders of the party.

Those who organized the meeting at the Diploma Engineers Institution yesterday, also protested at the party’s central office in Banani, Dhaka on January 11 after the election, alleging ‘non-cooperation’ against the party’s top leadership.

Some of the defeated candidates in yesterday’s meeting raised the question of how ethical was the participation of Zapa in the elections with non-cooperation against Zapa Chairman GM Quader and General Secretary Mujibul Haque. They commented that Japa has been unfair to the nation by going to the elections. GM Kader would have been a hero to the nation if he had not participated in the elections.
