Two officials of Biman are missing, fear of information smuggling

Two officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines are missing from the national flag carrier. They believe that one of these officials has escaped to Canada. Another is hiding in the country. The police said that a general diary (GD) has been filed at the Dhaka Airport Police Station on Monday by Biman.
The two officials of Biman are Assistant Manager (Administration). Anwar Hossain and Commercial Supervisor Sohan Ahmed. According to the GD, they resigned from the service without following due process. Anwar Hossain escaped to Canada on BG-305 flight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on December 7 without the permission of the authorities. And Sohan Ahmed is absconding since October 24. He went into hiding in the country.

Anwar Hossain’s house is in Nunia village of Chandpur. Father’s name is Abul Mannan. Sohan Ahmed is a resident of Ashkona in Dakshinkhan of the capital. His father’s name is Anwar Hossain.

According to GD information, these two officials have information about various contracts, RI policies and software of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. They can smuggle these sensitive information.

When asked about this, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Police Airport Region Touhidul Islam told Prothom Alo that the matter of GD is being seriously investigated.

The GD bears the signature of a person named Machudul Hasan. When contacted on the phone, he told Prothom Alo that the authorities of Biman Bangladesh Airlines asked him to do GD. That’s why he did this GD. [ According to the prothomalo ]
