What is the goal of Jaish al-Adl?
Jaish al-Adl demands more freedom and better living arrangements for members of the Baloch minority ethnic group. They have claimed responsibility for several attacks on members of the country’s security forces in Iran’s southern Sistan-Baluchistan province in recent years.

Following Jundallah’s ideology, the group pledges allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria-based militant group.

The US State Department has designated both Jundallah and Jaish al-Adl as ‘foreign terrorist organizations’.

Jaish al-Adl is an extremist group of Sunni Muslims. They are a branch of an Iran-based organization called Jundallah. Jundallah was founded in 2002 by Abdulmalek Rigi. He headed the organization until his execution by the Iranian government in 2010.

After Rigi’s death, several groups based on Jundallah’s ideology emerged. Among them, Jaish al-Adl became the most influential around 2012.
The group operates in southern Iran and Pakistan’s western Balochistan province. This area of Balochistan is bordered by Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. Iran attacked there on Tuesday afternoon.

Iran carried out an airstrike on Tuesday night near Panjgur in southwestern Pakistan’s Balochistan province. Two children were killed and three were injured.

According to the news of Iran’s state-owned media Noor, the headquarters of the terrorist group Jaish al-Adl has been destroyed by attacking the territory of Pakistan. It is also said that Iran has been attacking the installations of “terrorists” and their “intelligence headquarters” recently. For this, missiles have been launched in Kurdistan of Syria and Iraq. As a result of this, attacks have been carried out on the territory of Pakistan.

The government of Pakistan reacted with great anger in this incident. The country has expelled Iran’s ambassador to Islamabad. It has also withdrawn its ambassador from Iran. Apart from this, Islamabad has decided to suspend all high-level meetings between the two countries.
