Manchester City had already confirmed the signing of the Argentine ‘new Messi’. Without delay, the Etihad team also made an official agreement with Claudio Etcheverry. On the other hand, the French team PSG has officially signed a contract with the young Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Moscardo.
Echeverri joins City from Argentine club River Plate while Moscardo joins PSG from Brazilian side Corinthians. Etcheverry’s contract at Man City runs until 2028. Although the transfer fee was not disclosed, according to British media reports, the English Premier League club spent 14.6 million euros to get the 18-year-old Etcheverry.
Moscardo, who signed up for PSG, is also 18 years old. It is not known how much the Paris club paid the transfer fee to get this Brazilian. The Brazilian Under-23 midfielder has a contract until 2028. Etcheverry has made six appearances for the senior side of Buenos Aires club River Plate so far. It was from this river plate that Julian Alvarez, who won the World Cup for Argentina, signed for Man City in 2022.
Echeverri, however, is not pairing with Alvarez right now. He currently resides in River Plate. Will go to City in January next year. The same is the case with PSG’s purchase of Brazilian midfielder Moscardo. Moscardo, who has played 18 matches for the Brazilian club, will play for Corinthians until the end of this season on loan.
However, Moscardo is very happy to sign up for PSG, “I am very happy to sign up for PSG.” It was one of the best days of my life.
