Awami League has announced to hold rallies across the country on January 30. On that day, the party will hold peace, democracy and development rallies in all cities, districts and upazilas of the country.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced this in a rally at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Saturday afternoon. Earlier today, BNP announced a black flag march program on January 30 in all cities, districts, upazilas, thanas and municipalities of the country.
Obaidul Quader spoke as the chief guest at today’s rally of ‘Peace and Democracy of Awami League against the undemocratic activities of BNP-Jamaat’ organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League.
General Secretary of Awami League said, ‘Peace, democracy and development rally will be held on January 30 in all cities, districts and upazilas. On that day, you will hold the red-green flag and talk about how democracy, peace and development will happen. Our leaders and workers throughout the country will be on guard.
Earlier today, BNP held a short rally and black flag procession in the capital’s Nayapaltan. From there on January 30, they announced the black flag march program in all cities, districts, upazilas, thanas and municipalities of the country. The party will carry out this program to demand the ‘cancellation of the illegal dummy parliament and the election of the national parliament under a non-partisan neutral caretaker government.
