Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party chairman Gahar Ali Khan has claimed that President Arif Alvi will invite his party to form the government. Because they won the majority of seats in the National Assembly elections.
Addressing the media in Islamabad on Saturday, Gahar Ali said, “We don’t want to quarrel with anyone.” We want to move forward. We will go ahead and form the government as per the constitution and law.”
The PTI chairman said that the people exercised their right to vote freely. The Presiding Officers counted the votes and filled Form-45.
The chairman of Imran Khan’s party said that if the voice of the people and the initiative to form the desired government is suppressed, the economy will not be able to withstand its shock.
Stating that the full result should be declared by 12 midnight tonight, Gahar further said, “It will not be right to create any hurdle for PTI and the result should be declared as soon as possible.” As per the law, the final result is published by filling in Form-45. We have got all the results. PTI chairman said that party-supported independent candidates who won the election are in touch with them. They are loyal to the party and will remain so.
Gahar said that PTI will go for inter-party elections in the next 15 days after all the processes. People have given PTI a huge mandate. All the allegations against the founder of PTI are false.
The PTI Chairman said that they will soon reach a decision regarding the reserved seats and which party they should join. He said that they will hold peaceful protests in the constituencies where the results are still pending.
Gahar said that party leaders and workers have been requested to protest, but it should be peaceful.
